Shanghai Maglev Train, world's fastest train, running from the city to Pudong International Airport. Costs 50 yuan or 80 yuan for executive class. 0 to 100 KMH: 40 seconds 0 to 431 KMH: 3 min 14 sec (Max Speed) Total Distance: 30 KM Total Ride Time: 7 min 25 sec. It runs every 10 minutes from Pudong Airport to downtown Shanghai. Actual top speed is 500 kmh (312 mph), but there is not enough distance between the two stations to reach top speed.
